Daisy Galloway Couch

Daisy Galloway Couch, 94, of Springdale, died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born February 14, 1922 in the Brush Creek community to Henry Calvin and Nina Rose (Fletcher) Whittle. Daisy enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and canning. She especially loved spending time with her family, friends, and participating in activities at Ray of Hope Freewill Baptist Church including potlucks. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Harold Galloway and Raymond Couch; one daughter, Sherry Hollingsworth; one son, Glen Galloway; three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by three children, Randall Galloway and wife Loretta of Springdale, Dennis Galloway and wife Lucy of Corpus Christi, Texas, Patti Wohlford and husband James of Springdale; one brother, Jim Whittle and wife Yvonne of Hindsville; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 16, at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com.
