Charles M. Bain, age 92 of Springdale, went to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 16, 2016. He was born Aug. 22, 1924 in Cainsville, Mo., the son of Manlove Otis and Mamie Delores Sawyer Bain. Mr. Bain had served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired Yard Master for the Burlington Rail Road and he loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Mary Leazenby Bain of the home, to who he was married over 70 years. Two sons: Larry Bain and wife Barb of Huntsville, Ark., and Otis Bain and wife Rhonda of Horntown, Va.; two daughters: Nancy Strange of Littleton, Colo., and Janet Presley and Ray of Rogers, Ark. One sister, Virginia Hancock of Bethany Mo. Eleven Grandchildren, twenty nine Great-Grandchildren and Three Great-Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday Sept. 20. 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 at the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave. Springdale, Ark. 72762 with Pastor Max Bowlin officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers will be Cody Harp, Corey Harp, Brent Rogers, Ridge Rogers, River Rogers and Kalieb Swain.
