Charlene Yvonne-Green Pack, 82, passed away March 31, 2017 in Orange Park, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband Gussie A. Pack, Jr.; her parents Charlie D. Green, Sr. and Jennie Holloway Green; brothers, CD Jr, Shirley, Dale, Ronnie, and Henry, and her daughters, Kathryn Yvonne, Lila Carlene, Candace Renee, and Jencie Johanna Hughes. She is survived by her sister Charlotte; brothers, John, Paul, and Randy; her son, Charles and daughter-in-law Donna, granddaughter Jenny, and a very supportive extended family. Charlene was born in Emmet, Arkansas, and was married to Gussie Pack Jr. on Christmas eve, 1951. Charlene resided in Little Rock, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and most recently in Orange Park, Florida. Charlene started a career in sales after her children graduated from high school and retired from Joe Esco Tire Company, Oklahoma City, in 1993. Following retirement, Gus and Charlene relocated to Florida to be close to their granddaughter. Charlene attended church at First Assembly of God in Little Rock, First Assembly in Broken Arrow, Okla., Grace Assembly and Eagle Heights Baptist in Oklahoma City, and First Baptist in Orange Park. Charlene was a woman of strong Christian faith, a life-long learner, supportive wife, mother, and grandmother. She was well known for her creative cooking and managing the kitchen during family get-togethers. She had a positive impact on every person she met; she was a bundle of energy, a hard worker, and always made the people around her better by the example she set. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton, AR (501-315-4047). Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery in Benton.
