Louise J. Holland, age 97, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, April 4 in Bentonville. She was born February 5, 1920 in Fayetteville, the daughter of GAM and Edna Simpson Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Alsey and two older brothers. She was a charter member of University Baptist Church in Fayetteville where she was a lifelong resident. She taught Sunday School and Bible Studies at University Baptist Church and was a mentor to many young women. She became like a mother to numerous young married couples who attended University Baptist Church but above all she was a soul winner for Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was always involved with whatever her family was doing. She is survived by her three daughters Anne Wells and husband Richard of Bentonville, Margaret Luce and husband Stephan of Guernerville, California and Nancy Laney and husband Mike of Bentonville; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held 12 p.m. Friday, April 7 at University Baptist Church with Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
