Wayne Kalani Naihe, 77, passed from this life on February 28, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on July 17, 1939 in Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii.   Wayne's service in the United States Army and afterwards was a lifetime mission of duty and honor to the country he loved. Family and friends were his passion and delight; he did not differentiate between family and friends – they were all family.  Wayne is survived by his wife, Gina, of Kennesaw, Ga. (originally of Camden, AR); his daughter, Sheryl Naihe Wilson (Dennis Wilson) of Highlands, N.C., and his son, Kailer Wayne Naihe of Otto, N.C.; his sister, Barbara Naihe Simmons of Kailua, Hawaii; and numerous adopted children and grandchildren, whom he considered "God Children", i.e. "Gifts from God".   A celebration of Wayne's life will be held at Kennesaw United Methodist Church, 1801 Ben King Road, Kennesaw, Ga., at 2 p.m. on April 8. A reception will be held immediately after the service in the fellowship Hall of the church. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at that time. Spreading of the ashes will be held at a later date in Hawaii. Condolences may be left on Wayne K. Naihe's online guest book at www.GeorgiaFuneralCare.com.
