Roy Self

Roy Self, 84, of Bethel Heights, died Thursday, April 6, 0217 surrounded by family, while hospitalized for a brief illness. He was born Feb. 19, 1933 in Kingston to George Thomas and Millie Cleo (Smith) Self. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Wanda Faye (Robinson) Self in December, 2016. He is survived by three children, Anita Wilson and husband Marshall, Sheila Eastep and husband Kevin, all of Springdale, Bryan Self and wife Jennifer of Tulsa; brother, Ronnie Self and wife Doris; sister, Imogene Glenn and husband Cecil all of Springdale; 10 grandchildren, Derek, Danielle, Caroline, Emma, Claire, Ella Jane, Haley, Ethan, Brady, Tate; and six great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Madison, Harrison, Ava, Emory and Hayden. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery.
