Robert Allen Davis

Robert Allen Davis of Mt. Juliet, TN, died April 8, 2017. Mr. Davis was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Davis was the son of the late, Barton Allen and Ruby Mae Batey Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Earline Davis. He is survived by: wife, Rita Massingale Davis; children, Jeffrey Allen Davis and Jennifer Davis Goshorn; step-children, Matt Massingale and Susan M. Ramsey, sister, Donna Neyland, grandchildren, Allison Davis and Ryan Davis; step-grandchildren, Brad Ramsey, Chad Ramsey, Amanda R. Preston, Lauren Butler and Whitney Neil, 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jacob Armstrong, Pastor Mark Youngman and Pastor Gary Hughes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Providence United Methodist Church, 2293 S. Rutland Road, Mt. Juliet, Tenn. 37122.
