Willie Dean Lawson

Willie Dean Lawson, 89, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord and her loved ones on Monday, April 10, 2017 and is at peace now. She was a member of the Barney Missionary Baptist Church. She was born on December 27, 1927 at Hattieville, Arkansas. She is survived by her daughters Rebecca Reid (Jim), Vicky Reid (Timmie), Terri Harrison (Jay) and Joyce Staggs; two sisters, Thomasine Hale and Leatha Mitchell. She was Grandmomma to grandchildren, Pam Austin, Scotty Quattlebaum (Liz), Joey Reid (Vanessa), and Timothy Reid (Destiny). Eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Claude Lawson, mother Mary Edlemon, father Thomas Edlemon, and six sisters. Mom loved to garden, fish, and take care of her home and yard. Her family was very blessed by a loving and caring Mom. We are thankful for the upbringing in a Christian home. Thank you for all your prayers for Mom in her illness and your prayers for the family. We would like to thank Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation, and Kindred Hospice for loving and taking care of Mom. Visitation will be Friday, April 14, at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
