Earl Wayne Chaney, 74, of Vilonia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 13, 2017. He was born September 8, 1942 in Marked Tree, Ark. to the late James William and Audrey Robinson Chaney. Earl was also preceded in death by his son, Jimmy. Earl was of the Baptist Faith and was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Conflict. Earl was raised a Master Mason in Arizona, Member of Faulkner Lodge where he served as Worshipful Master and also served as Secretary for several years. Awarded Pillar of Solomon, District Deputy Grand Master District 10, Earl was also a member of the following Masonic Bodies, Alton Kol Grotto, Tucson, AZ and served as Monarch, Bendemeer Grotto, Little Rock, Ark. and served as Monarch, Fay Hempstead Chapter No. 144 and served as High Priest, Occidental Council No. 1 and served as Thrice Illustrious Master, Hugh De Payens Commander No. 1 and served as Commander, KYCH, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Valley of Little Rock and was invested as a KCCH, Royal Order of Scotland, Red Cross of Constantine, St. Giles Conclave, Allied Masonic Degrees, Gil Christ Council No. 26, Knight Masons of the U.S.A., Arkansas Council No. 80, National Sojourners, Inc. , Arkansas Chapter No. 166 and served as President, HEROES OF 76 and served as Commander, York Rite College No. 142, and Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis. He was a general contractor and owner of Chaney Building Company for 20 years in Tucson, AZ before returning back home to Arkansas. Earl enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Earl is survived by his wife of 56 years, Frankie, son, Gary (Kelly), brother, Harold (Carla), brother in law, Alfred Rodgers, five grandchildren, Jason (Sarah), James, Jesse, Anna, and Megan (Kevryk), five great-grandchildren, Allison, Peyton, Brayden, Merryk, and Aiyanna, numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
