Doris Williams, 69, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on April 13, 2017. Born Feb. 8, 1948 to the late Bennie and Erma Erwin, Doris was devoted to her family, her friends and her faith. He was a selfless soul with a generous spirit and brought laughter with her wherever she went. She was an intelligent, eccentric lady who loved camping, outdoor adventures, and spending time with the family. She loved all creatures great and small, frequently taking in animals. She had a savvy for computer programming and troubleshooting. Of her varied interests, she was a student of the Bible, researching manuscripts and examining the origins of scripture. She was a devoted follower of Christ. Doris worked in various roles in the administration of insurance agencies and brokerage firms. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Williams and her parents. Left to cherish her legacy of laughter and love are her three sons, Kevin (Alicia) Williams of Houston, Texas, Mark (Suzanne) Williams of Atlanta, Ga., and Aaron Williams of Little Rock, Ark.; her sister Betty Staley; her grandkids Abby, Emma, and Zoe, and a host of family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at noon on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock, Ark., with a reception in her honor following service.
