Claudia Elberta Halpain

Claudia Elberta Halpain, age 91, of Benton passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at her home. She was born January 17, 1926 in Chidister, Arkansas. Claudia was retired from the Benton Service Center and a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Gosvenor and Ora E. Wheelington Gosvenor, husband Luke Halpain, brother, Allen T. Gosvenor, sister, Zelma Benton. Survivors, nieces, Linda (Waymon) Minor, Alexander; Genevieve (John) McCool, Sheridan; Brenda Struble, Benton. Visitation will be from 5:30 to7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ashby's.
