Harvey Lee Platt Sr., 83, of Dumas, Ark. transitioned April 15, 2017. He was preceded in death by son, Harvey Platt Jr.; wife, Margerite (Ransom) Platt; brother, Calvin Platt; sister, Hazel Hadley; sister in laws, Betty Hunt, Georgia Cherry and Leevora Cole. Harvey was a devoted husband, family man, and loved by all who met him. He leaves to cherish memories: children, Linda Platt-Turner, Henry (Ella) Platt, Dennis (Ida) Platt, Margaret Platt, Mark (Donna Mitchell) Platt, Jackie Platt, Loretta (Patrick) Platt-Wright; sibling, Monroe Platt; 26 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
