Susan Ann "Susie" Bell went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Johnny Bell, daughter, Summer Calhoun and husband Josh and their two daughters Sunni and Sydni, and a brother Bill Carr, wife Kelly of Aurora, Colorado and nieces Emilee, Adalee and Leah. She is preceded in death by her parents Steve and Hope Carr of Greenbrier. Susie received an Associate Degree from Mount Sterling College, Colorado and became a licensed hair dresser after moving to Greenbrier. She owned and operated "The Hair Square" in Greenbrier for over 30 years. Susie was an active member of Bono Baptist Church serving in the Awana program, Vacation Bible School and singing in the choir, one of her most enjoyable ways of serving. Susie was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile and caring heart, as well as, the joy and encouragement she brought to her family, friends and customers. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 22, at 10 a.m. with Brother Marty Sikes officiating at Bono Baptist Church, 7 miles west of Greenbrier, Arkansas. (414 Hwy 285 North & Burkett Flatt Rd). Memorials may be made in honor of Susie to Bono Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association. Born, December 8, 1953 in Denver, Colorado Deceased, April 14, 2017 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Conway, Ark. The family is especially grateful to the care Susie was given by Julie Finton, the staff at Seeds of Love, Kindred Hospice, and Heritage Living Center.
