Mary Sue Wherley

Ms. Mary Sue Wherley, age 85, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Dierks Health and Rehab. She was born July 27, 1931 in Mississippi. She was a first grade school teacher in Pine Bluff, Arkansas for thirty years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. Ms. Wherley was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Gladys Keller Wherley and her sister, Helen Ivy. She is survived by one nephew, John Ivy and his wife Rhonda of Bloomburg, Texas and one niece, Laura Ivy of Ft. Smith, Arkansas one great-niece, Chelsea Ivy and one great-nephew, Colby Ivy. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Mt.
