Oscar is a great man and clearly a devoted and loving husband and father. It was an honor to know and work with him. Our relationship was not just business but a true friendship. I will miss his hardy laugh, his teasing me about wondering if I am still sleeping when he called me at 7:30 in the morning. What a great guy.… a fine example for us all to live by. I’ll miss you buddy.

Oscar will be profoundly missed by so many people. He was a dedicated employee to Entergy, a loving husband who was so proud of his wife Doris and his daughters, a faithful friend who would stop everything he was doing to help you. He cared for those who worked for him and he worked with. He and I had many conversations about life, his career, family and his church. Oscar had so many accomplishments in life they would be hard to list here but I am sure he would want to be remembered for his love of his God above all. This made him the man he was and a man that we all will miss dearly. Thank you Oscar for being my friend and being a part of my journey in this life. May I never forget your kind smile and your infectious laugh.

Oscar my friend my heart breaks to hear of your passing. I have known you since we were kids, we went to college together and served in the Army together as well. You were the example of a good friend, Leader and Family Man that has no doubt made a positive footprint on the hearts of anyone who had the pleasure to get to know you. May God watch over your beautiful wife that I also absolutely adore. I pray that God grant your children and family the strength to get through these difficult times.

Unbelievable! I'm so sorry to hear of Oscar's transition to heaven, but I know God is working His plan, and He does all things well. I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet Oscar and work with him. He has been a fine example of the kind of person this world needs - not perfect, but a really good person. I'm praying for you, family. With much admiration and affection...

Such a loss to the world. The best businessman I've ever known. I was honored to know Oscar. A great family man and friend with the heart of an entrepreneur.

I'll miss you friend.

Meeting Oscar for the first time in April 2015 was like we had already known him. His wife such a beautiful individual every time we had to meet with Oscar. Doris made us feel right at home. Oscar was a devoted and loving husband and father. Doing business with Oscar was a pleasure, this man knew his work and he made sure people were happy and pleased which would often bring a BIG smile on his face. We are truly going to miss Oscar and his phone conversations to check on us. Doris and family thank you for allowing us a little of Oscar's time, it was truly a pleasure. God has gained a working Angel....
