Johnnie Lorene Allen McConnell

Johnnie Lorene Allen McConnell, age 80 of Red Oak, Texas, formerly of Morrilton and Hot Springs, died on Feb. 26, 2017. She was born Sept. 12, 1936 in Morrilton. Lorene was preceded in death by husband Lloyd Clerget McConnell; mother Deannie Mae Dortch Allen; and son-in-law Philip Murry. She is survived by daughters Janice Malone, Conway; Carol Murry, Hot Springs; and Robin Davis, Red Oak; and sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd and Mary McConnell and Layne and Susan McConnell, all of Fort Worth, and Stuart and Teresa McConnell,Mabelvale. She is survived by grandchildren Natalie McConnell, Hot Springs; Darren Murry and Andrew Murry, Fayetteville; Jeremy and Moriah Bruner, Conway; Nathan and Erin McConnell, New York; great-grandchildren Chesney and Clark Bruner, Conway, and McKenzie and Paisley McConnell, New York; and sister-in-law Dorothy Mitchell, Cabot. She was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton on April 22, 2017.
