William Eugene "Gene" Bale

William Eugene Bale, 70, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 20, 2017. He was born Dec. 8, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Ella (Howell) Bale. Gene lived his life by trusting in the Lord. He was a devoted family man who genuinely cared for others and always offered words of encouragement to lift others up. Gene's passions included time with his wife, golfing with his sons, family vacations, and attending Razorback games. He was a man of extraordinary character, had an incredible work ethic, and was humble beyond measure. After college, he followed in his father's footsteps, working in the automobile industry. In later years, he worked for CHI St. Vincent. He leaves his beloved wife of 42 years, Beverly (Scarborough); his sons Matthew (April) and Thomas (Nicole); his Brother Johnny (Sharon); Grandsons Brock and Sawyer; and a large extended family whom he loved and cherished dearly. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2017 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark., 72211. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 AR Hwy 5, Alexander, Ark., 72002, with The PPBC Man Group Prime Time Class as honorary pallbearers. A Celebration of Life Service at Parkway Place Baptist Church, 300 Parkway Place Drive, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, afterward.
