Norma Lee Chancellor, 91, of Huntsville, Arkansas, passed away April 22, 2017 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville, Arkansas. She was born November 11, 1925 at Bohannan, Arkansas, the daughter of Ewell Everett and Oval Neal Boyd. She graduated with honors from Huntsville State Vocation School in 1943 and with her husband owned and operated Chancellor's Drug Store in Huntsville for many years. She had been a member of the Huntsville Free Will Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrel Chancellor on May 1, 2015. Survivors include: one son, Larry Chancellor of Huntsville, Arkansas; one daughter, Marcia Martens of Granbury, Texas; one sister, Donna Sugg of Harrison, Arkansas; one grandson, Jonathan Chancellor of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Tracy Haller of Huntsville, Arkansas and one great-grandson, Nicholas Farmer of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 27, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Lonnie Burks officiating. Interment will be in the Bohannan Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Michael Haler, Jonathan Chancellor, Jim Duncan, Mike Haney, Jeff Martens and Kendall Drake.
