Robert Theodore Andree, age 93, of Hot Springs Village, passed away on April 24, 2017. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to immigrant parents from France, Alfred Andree and Henrietta (Wittrock) Andree on December 9, 1923. Bob was a proud member of the United States Army serving his country in World War II. He enjoyed a host of activities among which included travel, ballroom dancing and especially deep sea fishing in the Gulf. His love of fishing won him the title of Angler of the Year in Hot Springs Village. Bob was a member of Village United Methodist Church and actively participated in many clubs within the Village, including; The American Legion and was a lifetime member of the HSV Animal Welfare League. Formerly, he took part in the HSV Men's Garden Club, Village Men's Cooking Club, the Hot Springs Jazz Society and Arkansas Community Foundation. He also was a charter member of Garvan Woodland Gardens. Robert is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lovie Roe-Andree, the fantasy and love of his life, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., two step-daughters; Candy Klimek (Tom) of Washington, D.C. and Jill Roe of Hot Springs, Ark., a special niece; Gerri Kennedy of Cincinnati, Ohio, and his two grand-cats, Morris and Sheba.
