Janeen Kay Anderson

Janeen Kay Anderson, 79, passed away Thursday April 27, 2017 at the Circle of Life Hospice Home. She was born Dec 21, 1937 in Lincoln Ne. to Englebert and Mabel Geiger. She married Frank Anderson in Omaha, Neb., on July 25, 1959 and spent the first 28 years of married life traveling the world wherever the Air Force sent him, while providing a loving, caring household for her family. The last 30 years have been spent in Bella Vista where she enjoyed singing in the church choir and with a woman's barbershop choir, ceramics where her specialty was Santa Claus's and angels, cards either bridge or crazy canasta, watching and feeding birds, traveling especially to the Grand Canyon, her favorite place in the world, and most importantly being with her family, especially the grandchildren whenever and wherever she could. Janeen was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Wilma Rasmussen. She is survived by her husband, Frank Anderson of Bella Vista; two children, Terri O'Byrne of Omaha Neb., Steven Anderson and wife, Patricia of Omaha Neb.; one sister, Pat Brannon and husband, George of Bella Vista; six grandchildren, Danny O'Byrne of Lincoln Neb., Joshua Anderson and wife, Elizabeth of Elkhorn, Neb., Shannon O'Byrne of Omaha Neb., Brendan O'Byrne of Omaha, Neb., Mitchell Anderson and wife, Taylor of Omaha, Neb., Shane O'Byrne of Omaha Neb.; one great grandchild, Sonora Anderson of Elkhorn, Neb. Family visitation will be held Tuesday evening, May 2, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of the Bella Vista Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. at United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter or United Lutheran Church for their outreach program.
