Margaret Poole Morehouse

Margaret Poole Morehouse, 84, of Sheridan, Arkansas died Thursday at Hospice Home Care. She was a member of North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed singing in trios and in church, as well as, ministering and witnessing, alongside her husband, at the Sheridan and Malvern jails and in prison ministries. She was known to recite scriptures to the inmates. She was a "Mother" to many women and nursing home residents. Margaret loved Jesus dearly. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a Godly example to them and to everyone she came in contact with. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, and her grandson, Scott O' Steen. Survivors; best friend, husband, caregiver of 65 years, Norman E. Morehouse, Sr.; daughter, Connie Lynn Butler; son, Norman E. Morehouse Jr.; two grandchildren, Nancy (Jason) Dunnahoo, Emily Morehouse; great-grandchildren, Alainna, Ryan, Colin, Pixie, Sarah, and Dalton and a host of friends. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, Chapel.
