James Woolley
James Olen Woolley, 76 of Woodlawn, passed away, Thursday April 27, 2017.
Born Nov. 11, 1940 at Star City, he was a son of the late Henry Olen Woolley and Helen McFarland Woolley.
A United States Navy Veteran, Mr. Woolley was a member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, Mill Creek Masonic lodge #178 and Jacob Brump Lodge # 160.
He retired from Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor after 41 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Maxine Owen Woolley on Nov. 20, 2016; and an infant brother, Raymond.
Mr. Woolley is survived by his children, Sherri Woolley Ancipink & husband Patrick, and James "Jimmy" Woolley, Jr. & wife Jodi Lynn; siblings, William Paul Woolley, J.L. Woolley, Elizabeth Robertson, Sylvia Boyd, Robert Woolley, Charles Woolley and David Woolley; grandchildren, Griffin, Tess, Landra & Brenna; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 2, 2 p.m. at First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Robert Cossey officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 1 p.m. until service time.
