Joel Garrett Melvin

JOEL GARRETT MELVIN, age 73, of Sherwood, Ark., entered into his heavenly home on April 19, 2017. Joel was born Jan. 8, 1944 in West Frankfort, Ill. to Carl Melvin and Edith Lucille (Macklin) Melvin who preceded him in death along with his brother Daniel. Joel is survived by his son, Christopher Todd (Tammy) Melvin; his daughter Tara Suzanne Melvin; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; Sister, Carla (Jack) Watt of Marble Hill, Mo.; Sister Kathy L McLean of Modesto, Calif.; four nieces and two nephews. Memorial Service to be held at Moose Lodge # 942,4000 Keihl, in North Little Rock from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on May 6 2017. You may contact the Moose Lodge for more information. Graveside service will be held on May 20, 2017 in East Fork Cemetery, West Frankfort, Ill.
