Thomas McFalls, 87, of Dumas, passed away Sunday in Star City. He was born December 11, 1929 in Lincoln County to the late Palmer A. and Maude Buck McFalls. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dumas and was a service man for C&L Electric, retiring after 64 years. He was a member of Todd Hunting Club and a 1949 graduate of Star City High School. Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Jo Carol Burnett; four brothers, Russell McFalls, Robert McFalls, Phillip McFalls and John McFalls; and two sisters, Ruth Carter and Katie Ann Hughes. Survivors include his wife, Onita Ollar McFalls of Star City; four daughters, Charlotte (Larry) Burnett of Dumas, Cindy McFalls of Lowell, Connie (Ray) Lenderman of Dumas, and Camille (Marty) Chambers of Glendale; brother, Vernon "Skeeter" (Sue) McFalls of Searcy; sister, Bobbie Sue (Leroy) McBryde of Palmyra; eight grandsons; two granddaughters; four great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Brad Elrod officiating. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial at Drake Cemetery. Pallbearers are Thomas Burnett, Chris Howard, Phillip Tucker, Jr., Jerry Tucker, Daniel Tucker, Robert Burnett, Lance Howard and Josh Chambers.
