Donna Sue Morgan

Mrs. Donna Sue (Draper) Morgan of Batesville, Ark., departed this life on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at the age of 81. She was born May 26, 1936 at Jacksonport, Ark., the daughter of Fletcher Edwin and Evelyn (Alvis) Draper. Miss Donna Sue Draper married Mr. James E. Morgan on April 5, 1953, and they enjoyed 64 years together. Most important to her were her roles as Wife, Mother, Granny and Great Granny. She was a member of the Desha Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James E. Morgan, of the home; three daughters, Sue Ruff and husband, Michael, of Clinton, Belinda McCleskey of East Peoria, Ill., and Sherry Murray of East Peoria, Ill.; one brother, Danny Draper and wife, George Anne of Wynne; six grandchildren, Morgan Ruff, Corey Ruff and wife, Courtney, Heather Hedrick and husband, Karl, Katie Culler and husband, Andrew, Bobby McCleskey and wife, Amanda, and Samantha Murray; eight great-grandchildren Visitation will be Sunday 3-5 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.
