Maxine Wheeler Glaze

Maxine Wheeler Glaze, 88, left this world on Aug. 5 to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born May 16, 1929 in Bald Knob the fourth of seven children to the late Ernest and Magdeline (Newell) Wheeler. Maxine worked at General Industries for over 25 years; she was also a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She was a loving wife, mother and sister. Maxine loved bowling, dancing, singing and growing flowers and vegetables. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant siblings, Robert Lee and Lillian; and Pauline Goodin of Bald Knob. Maxine was the widow of V.L. "Bill" Glaze, with whom she was married to for 38 years. She leaves behind her children, Harvey Glaze (Tara) of Valdosta, Ga., Don Glaze (Shirley) of St. George, UT and Michael Glaze (Rhonda) of Bald Knob; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Lou Ella Evans and Ernesteen Pascarella both of Bald Knob and a brother, Everett Wheeler of Bald Knob. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 from 9-10 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob.
