Grace Renee Garland, 57, of Little Rock, Arkansas, transitioned from this life on Sunday, August 6, 2017. She was born in Forrest City, Arkansas on July 8, 1960 to loving parents Rufus and Nellie Patrick Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Demetris Patrick; and her siblings, Mildred, William, Freddie, Lester, Effie and Pearlie. She is survived by her husband, Clifford Garland; her son, Kevin Garland; grandsons, Brandon, Garland and Malik Connors; siblings, Frank Patrick, Detroit, Mich.; Rufus Patrick, Jr. (Christy), Sacramento, Calif.; Rudolph Patrick Sr. (Jo Anne), Little Rock, Ark.; Harry Patrick (Linda), Little Rock, Ark.; Gracie Hodge, Little Rock, Ark.; and Raymond Patrick (Evelyn), Columbus, Ohio; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Home going services will be Saturday, August 12, 2017, 12 noon, at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305. Interment will follow at Rest In Peace Memorial Gardens, Hensley, Ark. Visitation Saturday, 11-12 noon before the service, at the funeral home.
