Virginia (Ginger) Beeson McCaleb of Little Rock, Ark. passed away peaceful at her home on August 10, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Virginia Dare Beeson in Albuquerque, N.M. on November 21, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Grady Beeson and Beverly Bort. Ginger is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Johnny McCaleb of Little Rock; her daughters, Lindsay McCaleb (32) of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Dr. Rachael McCaleb (30) and Caroline McCaleb (25) of Little Rock; sisters, Frances Cannon of Midway, Ark. and Maria Brinsfield of Hot Springs; brother, Grady Beeson of Houston, Texas. Ginger was introduced to horses by her father at a young age, and quickly developed a passion for riding and showing. Later in life, she found great fulfillment in sharing her passion of riding with her daughters, traveling across North America showing Quarter horses. Her proudest moment was watching her beloved horse, All About Lark (Big), win the American Quarter Horse Association World Championship. Ginger was well respected by everyone who came to know her. Those who knew Ginger, knew that she never met stranger. Her warm smile and infectious laugh could brighten any room. She will be forever loved ad forever missed. Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas with Reverend Tony Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Riverwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-5 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
