Catherine Louise Coffield Sullivan left this existence to be transformed into her next glorious life on this day Aug. 10, 2017. She left behind her sons Robert E. Sullivan and James J. Sullivan, her sister, Peggy Coffield Meredith, her niece, Mickey Birdsong and daughter, Anna C. Stark. All of whom reside in North Little Rock. Also left behind is her brother Patrick A Coffield of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She will be met on the other side by her parents Marjorie, Peter, and brother Michael Coffield. There will be a gathering of all the ancestors to welcome Cathy. Supervised by Mother and Mike, Daddy will teach her to fly. Cathy graduated from North Little Rock High School, 1965, University of Arkansas, 1969, and a Masters in Special Education. Her teaching career was all about children with learning disabilities. She was twice retired from both Desoto County School District, Miss., and from Pulaski County Special School District, Sylvan Hills Middle School, Ark. Cathy was a world traveler for most of her life, but truly enjoyed the road trips she took in the last seven years where she visited almost all of the western US National Parks. There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Cathy's life at her home at 5808 N. Walnut Road in North Little Rock on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017. 2-4 p.m. In the past month, we have met and been loved by many Angels in training, who earn their wings daily. Thanks and donations can be made to Hospice of Arkansas at CHI St Vincent's of Little Rock. On-line guestbook at www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
