Mary Louise Caulk Dewey-Douglass

Mary Louise Caulk Dewey-Douglass, age 86, of Cabot, went to be with her Lord on Friday, Aug. 11, 2017. She was born Dec. 15, 1930 in the small community of Hanson, Fla. The only child of the late Charles Colon Caulk and Marion Elizabeth Morse. Mary was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, where she served as President, she was very active in her Sunday School Class. She was retired from Quality Foods, Inc. and Douglass Services where she worked as an accounting clerk and served as secretary and treasurer of Douglass Services. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Steven Douglass. She leaves behind her husband James "Jim" Robert Douglass, her daughters Diane (David) Bowlan, Jill (Kenny) Johnson, grandson, Brent Douglass, her son, Charles Mark Dewey and his wife Cindy, grandchildren, Christy (Eric) Anderson, Charley (Ashleigh) Dewey, great-grandchildren, Leighton, Katherine, Drake and Bennett, cousins, Tom and Jewel Morse of Florida, and Beverly Williams of Mobile, Ala. Memorials may be made to the Charles Stuck Fund at FUMC. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
