Nova Jean West, who resided in Charleston, Ark., passed away, Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, in Charleston. She was born Nov. 14, 1924, in New Blaine, Ark. She was 92 years old. Nova Jean was a homemaker and a cook. She loved cooking, enjoyed quilting, and she was a member of Church of Christ in Paris. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will be at Moore Cemetery, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. She is survived by five daughters, Noreen Williams of Fort Smith, Sue Koenig and husband Eddie of Subiaco, Pamela Hearod and husband Ron of Russellville, Paula Bennett and husband Gary of Hot Springs, and Carol Boyd and husband Jim of Caulksville; three sons, Jake West and wife Linda of Ozark, Dennis West and Kathy of Paris, and Roger West and wife Connie of Clarksville; one sister, Ruby McElroy of Charleston; (22) grandchildren, (34) great-grandchildren, and (5) great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joshua Koenig, Chris West, Dennis Dale West, Trent West, Michael Bennett, and Jake Davison Boyd.
