Reta Sue Isom Kirkpatrick

RETA SUE ISOM KIRKPATRICK from Jacksonville, Ark., went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017. Reta was born Aug. 21, 1946 in DeWitt, Ark. Her parents were John Leonard Isom and Katie Ruth Purdy Isom.  Reta was a faithful member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and has been employed by Gastro of Arkansas for over 40 years. Reta was such a loving and caring person, she loved her family, church family and friends so much. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her granddaughter Jata and cooking for family and others. Reta was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 42 years, Glenn Kirkpatrick and sister Joan Isom. She is survived by her son Rusty Kirkpatrick (Tanya), granddaughter Jata Kirkpatrick, grandson Jacody McKee, sisters Marilyn Hays of Little Rock Judy Akins of Sherwood, Pam Castaneda (Eduardo) and brother Teddy Isom (Karen) of DeWitt. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14th at Essex Funeral Home with burial in DeWitt Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
