Christel (Oma) Clements

SHOPPING, STORY TELLING AND SLEEPING!!! Happy as a clam, or in her case a lobster, to finally get to sleep all she wants! Christel Clements (Oma) went to be with family and friends for a final reunion on August 14, 2017. Born in Bad Godesberg, Germany on Dec. 29, 1929 she traveled the world and never really followed the rules. Married a GI in 1951, named Roland Clements (Opa), deceased 2006, from Martha's Vineyard; and the traveling across the world began. From coast to coast in the United States, all across Europe and even to Saudi Arabia, all places to make the story telling that much more exciting. Let's not forget those places all have shopping as well, and she was a professional with a capital P. So said, she leaves behind many friends and even more "treasures". Left behind to sort through all the treasures are two children, Trixie & Charlie Arnold of Bella Vista, Ark., Roger & Gai Clements of York, Maine; four grandchildren, Jeremiah & Rochelle Arnold of Steamboat Springs, Colo., Nicole & Ray Greiche of Demarest, NJ, Kristina & Brock Sanborn of Wells, Maine, and Danielle Clements of Glenville, N.Y.; four great-grandchildren; Raymond, Jesse & Layla in N.J., and Dylan in Colorado. No memorial services are planned as she and Opa will be returning to the East Coast right away. No flowers or donations, just tell someone you love them.
