Pauline Berdella Dahlberg Miller, age 86, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017, in Blue Springs, Missouri, from heart failure. Born in McVille, North Dakota, on April 2, 1931, to Henry Dahlberg and Alma Vrem Dahlberg. Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Donald L. Miller; sons Steven Miller and Robert Miller; and brother, Harris Dahlberg. She is survived by daughter, Coleen (Gary) Barger, of Maumelle; son, Jeffrey (Marji) Miller of Blue Springs, Missouri; grandchildren, Jonathan Barger of Naperville, Illinois; Katherine Miller of Benton; Corina Miller and Wilson Miller of Blue Springs, Missouri; and great-grandchildren, Sofia and Dominik Barger of Naperville, Illinois. Pauline grew up in North Dakota and Minnesota. She married Don in 1951, and over the next dozen years, the family followed his construction jobs, living in Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Texas, Ohio, Jamaica, and the state they fell in love with, Arkansas. An Arkansas resident for the last 53 years, Pauline lived in North Little Rock, Benton, Little Rock, and Maumelle. Pauline treasured her friends, who will remember her energy, sense of humor, determination, and adventurous spirit. Pauline asked that her ashes join those of her husband and sons at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas. The family plans a celebration of her life in the fall. For donations in her memory, her favorite charities were Heifer International and Smile Train.
