Allen J. Sims,54, of Little Rock, AR departed this life August 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by: father, Allen Sims; mother, Earnestine Lewis; sisters, Delois Bennett and Velma Huggins; grandfather, John Lewis; grandmother, Ola Lewis. Allen formerly worked as Pastry Chef at Marriot Hotel, and Little Rock Club. He also is a former employee of Sam's Club and Arkansas Democrat Gazette. Allen leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Deborah Sims; children, Marietta Walker of Phoenix, Ariz., Terica Sims of LR, Kriston Sims of Houston, Texas, Amber Sims and Eryn Sims both of LR; siblings, MaeOla Boykins, Donna Harris-Thomas, Ronnie Lewis, Carlton (Kim) Lewis, and Kenneth (Diana) Thomas; six grandchildren, JaMarcus, Savannah, JaLeah, Courtney, Jordan and Jaiceon; and a host of family and friends.
