Virginia Mae Hunter, 70, of Jessieville, Arkansas, passed away August 15, 2017. She was born November 21, 1946, in Hot Springs, to George Doyle and Esther Virginia (Goodman) Kingery. Virginia enjoyed reading, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild, and caring for her cats. She had a passion for sewing, drawing, painting, and shopping for her great-granddaughter, Grace. Virginia was a member of Marble Missionary Baptist Church. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Charrie Kingery; brother-in-law, Ronnie Hunter; and aunt, Leria Goodman. Survivors include her husband Tommy Hunter; son, Alan Hunter of Jessieville; daughter, Susanna Gayle Crow (Jeff) of New DeRoche; brothers, David Kingery, J.C. Kingery, Rex Kingery (Blanche); sisters-in-law, Robin Duncan (Don), Maxine Hunter; grandchildren, Brad Hunter (Brittany), Evan Hunter, Sam Hunter, John David Crow (Ashley), Addison Scout Crow; great-grandchild, Grace Hunter; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Marble Missionary Baptist Church in Jessieville with a celebration of Virginia's life immediately following at 2 p.m. with Bro. Blair Bates and Bro. Jim Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Garland County Library. Guests may register at www.caruth-hale.com.
