Annie Stephania Howard

Annie Stephania Howard, 93, of Cabot died Friday, Aug. 18, 2017. She was born Feb. 27, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late John and Mary Onulack. Mrs. Howard was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. She operated a daycare and home school from her home where she spent her life caring for and educating children. Mrs. Howard spent her life caring for others but her greatest love was for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved roses, gospel music, bingo and dominos. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Marion Howard. Mrs. Howard is survived by her children, Donald Howard, Jimmie Charles Howard (Flo), David Lee Howard (Betty), Robert Eddie Howard (Peggy) and Shirley Ann Homsley (Jerry); her grandchildren, Debra Nail (Kevin), Jason Howard (Cindy), Andrea Mayne (Lee), Morgan Finn (Tracy), Christopher Scott Howard (Ilyse), Timothy Wayne Howard (Angela), Stacy Homsley, Brad Homsley (Jennifer), Elvia Jean McAlister and Ben McAlsiter; as well as 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017 at Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
