Delbert Lennis Calvert

Delbert Lennis Calvert, age 91, of Warren, Ark., died Saturday, Aug. 19, at Hospice Homecare in Little Rock, Ark. Born June 5, 1926, in Warren, Ark., a son of the late Louie Calvert and Lela Amelia Gossien Calvert he was retired from Ford Manufacturing Co., member of Latter Day Saint Church, a World War II Army veteran, and the widower of Lois L. Calvert who died Nov. 16, 2008. They were united in marriage June 7, 1949. Also preceding him in death were brothers Pershing Edward Calvert, Harrell Calvert; sisters Sibyl Haynes, Meta Mills and Jean Briant. Survivors are two sons Steven Calvert of Portland, Tenn., and Randy Calvert of Sheridan, Ark. Two daughters Lisa Himes of Phoenix, Ore., and Susan Moak of White Hall, Ark. One brother Howard Calvert of Warren, Ark. One sister Jerry Neely of Herbine, Ark. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial is in Garrison Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Frazer's.
