Billie Dean Branum, 86, of Granbury, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, August 18, 2017. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Holly Hills Memorial Park, Granbury, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury. Billie was born in Springfield, Ark. on Nov. 18, 1930 to William and Martha Pearson Powell. She married James Edward Branum on Nov. 22, 1950 in Pulaski Co., Ark. She was a member of the West Rock Baptist Church of Little Rock, Ark. Billie had a strong faith and taught Sunday school for several years. After God, family was the most important thing to her. She loved her family especially her great-grandchildren and was always happy to see the great-greats. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden, fishing, sewing, making sweet tea and cooking chocolate pies and chocolate gravy. Billie was predeceased by her husband, James Edward Branum; son, Jimmy Lee Branum; parents; three sisters and four brothers. Survivors: William Fleming (Sharon), Ronnie Fleming, Deborah Land (Albert); grandchildren, Melisa Fleming, Julie Jones, Camille Strakaluse, Craig Wootton, Shawn Fleming, Joe Cook, Farin Milligan, Trisha Winn, Justain Branum and Nikki Tidwell; 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
