Bonnie Butler

Bonnie Lynn Butler died peacefully Sunday, August 20, 2017. She was born October 23, 1954 in Little Rock, AR a to Ann and Basil Butler. Bonnie will be remember for her unconditional love pats, her laughter and her "whoa" that often came at the most unexpected times. Bonnie loved being with people, a round of golf with her dad or a Christmas parade with her mother. Bonnie loved music, opening and giving presents and being "bossy." More than likely she arrived in Heaven, turned the music up and told everyone to clean up their mess. Bonnie loved adventure and always wanted to go faster. It didn't matter if it was her rocking horse, bicycle, the back of her dads's motorcycle which she called "wrecker rider" or her wheelchair. Bonnie loved life. Bonnie is survived by her mother: Ann Butler, father: Basil Butler and his wife Belinda; sister: Sharon Estes and her husband Mark; brother: Keith Butler and his wife Kim. She is Aunt Bonnie to Emily Estes, Kristin Butler and Michael Butler. Also special to Bonnie were Tommie Butler, Jim Estes; and the other men in her life, Paul, Kyle, Wesley and Colton. Bonnie is also survived by her family at the Conway Human Development Center where she was a resident since 1968. Bonnie lived in the same cottage, 8 Birch for 49 years. She designated herself as the official greeter and was always sitting by the door. The family would also like to thank all the caregivers, teachers, and staff of CHDC who have been part of and gave her a purpose in life. Memorials can be made to CHDC Volunteer Council Sheltered Living 150 East Siebenmorgen Rd Conway, Ark. 72032. A celebration of life will be held at the Conway Human Development Center Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2017. All visitors must sign in at main office and then proceed to the chapel.
