Sarah Enoch Hyde, 92, of Little Rock went to Heaven, Thursday, August 23, 2017. She was born in Sherrill, Arkansas on February 25, 1925. She had a 35-year career at Westinghouse in Little Rock and was of the Methodist faith. She was a woman filled with kindness and compassion and was happiest when she was helping others. Her door was always open for anyone needing a place to stay or a good meal. She always had cake and coffee ready for those who stopped by. She will be missed by her family and friends, whose hearts she touched in so many ways. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Fannie Enoch; her husband of 49 years, Charles C. Hyde; five sisters; and one foster daughter. Sarah is survived by son, Rusty Hyde (Myra); daughter, Judy Fox (Don); sister, Lee Stricklin; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A sincere thanks to Denise and Stacey Thompson and Lee Stricklin for their help and support during her last days and to Arkansas Hospice nurse, Vicky McElwrath, and those at Valley Ranch Nursing Home for their kindness and care. Visitation will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211. A family graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Pine Bluff Memorial Park with Reverend Bob Marble officiating.
