Homer Moore

Homer Moore, 70, of Scott, passed away Aug. 22, 2017. Born in Inez, Ky. to Shirley and Trinnie Maynard Moore, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and of the Baptist belief. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Deborah Moore; son, Tracy Moore and wife, Lacy, of Marlow, Okla.; grandchildren, Joshua Moore, currently serving on the U.S.S. Greenbay off the coast of Australia, and Dalton Moore; two great-grandchildren; sister, Neva Fluty of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 29 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Larry Ballard, followed by interment with Military Honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Arrangements by Little Rock Funeral Home, (501)224-2200.
