William Calvin Glover Jr.

William Calvin (Dub) Glover Jr. died at age 72, Saturday, August 26, 2017. He was born July 2, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dub was preceded in death by his wife Debbie Higgins Glover, father William Calvin Glover, and mother Wilma Latta Glover Smith. He is survived by his son, Lance Glover and wife Jessie of Rogers; son, Derek Glover of Jacksonville; grandsons, William Calvin Glover III and Charlie Asher Glover of Rogers; sister, Ann Teeter and husband Joe of Little Rock; niece, Kathy Gladden and husband Joel; nephew, Jody Teeter and wife Carolyn; one mother-in-law, Nellie Higgins of Palestine; sister-in-law, Daphne Pike and husband Terry; sister-in-law, Doris Shafer and husband Billy; sister-in-law, Denelda Michaelis and husband Gary; nephew, T.J. Pike and wife Jill; niece, Tabitha Gibbs and husband Ricky; niece, Candice Franks and husband Burge; nephew, Joe Shafer and wife Allison; niece, Tiffany Michaelis and husband Chucky, and 16 great-nieces and nephews. He served as a United States Marine and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also a retired member of the North Little Rock Police Department. He was most proud of his two sons, Lance and Derek and later his grandsons, William and Charlie. Visitation services will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 6 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home located at 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72117.
