Ronald W Young

Ronald W. (Scooter) Young, passed away and met Jesus at his home on Sunday, August 27, 2017. He was born February 6, 1971 in Little Rock, Ark. to Harold Young and Doris Valentine Young. He was a 1989 graduate of Catholic High School in Little Rock and worked as a locomotive engineer for Union Pacific Railroad. He is survived by his son, Kaden W. Young and Kaden's mom, Linda McGraw Young of Lonoke, his father, Harold (Tommie Jean) Young of Cabot, his mother Doris Valentine Young of North Little Rock, his brother Don (Crissy) Young and niece, Carlee of Batesville, his step-sister, Debbie (Byron) Haley, step-brother, John Bland, all of Sherwood, Ark., including many nieces, nephews, friends and others that loved him to pieces. Ron enjoyed having fun with family and friends, probably too much fun at times. Get-togethers will not be the same without Ron's presence. A Celebration of Ron's Life will be 3 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot with Bro. Terry Fortner officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time.
