Charles Robinson, 92, of Osceola passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at St. Bernard's Village in Jonesboro. He was born January 23, 1925, in Armorel, to R.H. "Bob" And Lockie Lee Robinson. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving stateside and in the Pacific. He attended Texas A&M, and was a graduate of the University of Louisville, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a farmer of 40 years, in partnership with his son in Mississippi county. He was an avid tennis player, enjoying playing in tournaments throughout the Mid-South area as a senior. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Imogene "Gene" Quinn Robinson; his parents; two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his son, Lowry E. Robinson and wife Sheree'; two granddaughters, Courtnie Peacock (Mark) of North Little Rock, and Whitnie Robinson of Fayetteville; four great-grandchildren, William Quinn Lushbaugh, Elizabeth Lindsay Lushbaugh, Lowry Cole Peacock, and Max Henry Peacock. A graveside service will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Blytheville (located behind the Elmwood Cemetery at the cross of Willow and Division), Saturday September 2nd at 2 p.m. with Bro. Jim Roberts officiating. Services are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Lasting memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 303 S.
