Else Frieda Clinton

Else Frieda Clinton of Henderson, Nev., passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 5, 2017, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was 84. Else was born in Germany on June 1, 1933, to Otto and Anna Schnäbele. Else was a devoted Army wife to her husband Billy - her beloved Schätzel - and mother to their children, raising them while living all over the world. Mom, Oma, and Great Grammy lived her life serving the Lord, selflessly helping others. Else was actively involved in several churches in Nevada and Arkansas and performed daily devotionals. Her favorite scripture was "Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings" (Psalm 17:8). Her legacy will live on through the many family and friends that are left to cherish the memories. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy; her parents, Otto and Anna; her sister, Elfrieda; and two grandchildren, Jenny and Jason. Else leaves behind a loving family that includes her children, Lee, Anna, and Billy; her grandchildren, Rebecca, William, and Marshall; her brother Kurt Schnäbele; and nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
