Paul Wayne Allen of Sheridan, Ark., was born Oct. 11, 1969 at Dumas, Ark. He was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. His favorite pastime was all things FOOTBALL. He played for the Sheridan Yellowjackets when he was in school, and still rooted for them. He also was a Dallas Cowboys fan. However, the team that he loved the most was the Arkansas Razorbacks. Paul's greatest joy was his family. Everything he did, revolved around them. Paul died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, at the age of 48. He was preceded in death by his dad, Larry Davis, maternal grandfather, Paul Dorman, and paternal grandparents, Esther and Leonard Allen. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Karen Flowers Allen; mother, Paula Davis; father, Kenneth Allen; sister, Amanda (John) Lunsford; grandmother, Bea Dorman; father-in-law, John Flowers; sister-in-law, Joyce and husband Roy Welch; nephew, Logan Lunsford all of Sheridan. He is also survived by numerous other family members and a large number of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan, with Bro. John Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation is Monday, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church, P.O.
