Charles Ray (Chuck) Baker, 60, of Bokoshe, Okla., passed away peacefully in his home on December 3rd 2017. Chuck was born December 1st 1957 in Puerto Rico to Walter and June Baker. He spent most of his life as a resident of Arkansas. Chuck was an intelligent, fun, and hard-working man who enjoyed life to its fullest. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1985 with a BS in Chemical Engineering. After serving 11 years in the United States Navy, he moved back to Arkansas to raise his family. Chuck spent the past 20 years working at Ashland Performance Materials primarily as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager. He is preceded in death by his son, Charles Nicholas (Nick) Baker, father, Walter Baker, brother, Larry Baker, first wife, Wendy Baker, and stepmother Dayle Baker. Chuck is survived by his wife, Catherine Baker of Bokoshe, Okla.; children, Jonathan Baker of Overland Park, Kan. and Elizabeth Baker of Evanston, Ill.; stepchildren, Tashi Trejo of Bokoshe, Okla., Tanya Suares of Riverside, Calif. and Allen Morse of Riverside, Calif., grandchildren, Justice Baker, Alex Trejo, and Kayla, Arianna, Aubrielle, and Abigail Suarez; mother, June King Workman; stepfather, George Workman; brothers, Gary, Mark, Pat, and Bryan Baker; step-siblings, Stacy, Terry, and Russell Workman. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel, 4817 Kelley Hwy., Fort Smith, Arkansas with Interment to follow at Oak Cemetery.
