Howard Carter Branstetter

Howard Carter Branstetter Sr., 71, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Sunday, December 3, 2017. He was born Tuesday, August 27, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Homer Merlin Branstetter and Alley Clarice Carter Branstetter. Mr. Branstetter was a member of First Christian Church of Sherwood. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Homer Merlin Branstetter Jr., and Kent Branstetter. Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years Susan Branstetter, children Curt Cline of Ward, April Branstetter-Thomas (Lloyd Thomas) of Jacksonville, Dustin Branstetter (Laura Porter-Branstetter) of Cabot, Carter Branstetter Jr. (Kristen) of Dallas Texas and Robert Branstetter of Tennessee. Other survivors include sister, Phyllis Hall (Rodney) of Humnoke, 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday December 8, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the funeral home.
