Barber Bob Wilson Holloman, 82, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017. He was born October 3, 1935 in Princeton, Kentucky to the late Samuel Holloman and Marion Catilla.
He was preceded in death by parents, sister, Marcella Manning and brother, Jimmy Holloman. Bob is survived by; sons, Mark (Sharon) and Mike Holloman; grandchildren, Tara (Marlon) Dixon, Hunter Holloman and Megan Johnson; great-granddaughter Landri Dixon; brother, Jerry (Debbie) Holloman.
Bob served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After his service in the military, he worked for the United States Postal Service. Upon retiring from the post office, Bob worked 10 years for the Lonoke Sherriff Department and later as a bailiff for Judge Phillip Whitaker.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, from 5-7 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Friday, December 8, 10 a.m. at Concord United Methodist Church. Online guestbook www.boydfuneralhome.net.
